Mrs. B homeschooled her three children and noticed it took Mary so long to accomplish anything. Her pace was painfully slow even though she knew the work. When she was in 8th grade, she asked Mary to choose a book that she liked to read and she chose one that young readers would choose – large font, pictures, basically 4th grade level, and it took her an hour to read 13 pages.
